Description:
For one of our clients we are looking for an experienced Software Developer responsible for software development and support for test systems, responsible for Support and development of the MeCIS (Medical Components Information System) system and its components and interfaces for BGE based on Oracle, C#, Java, PL/SQL, MS Access and Visual Basic
Responsibilities:
- Support and further development of software tools for BGE (blood gas) based on Visual Basic, Excel, MS Access and MS SQL
- Troubleshooting and user support for the above systems in operations and at suppliers
- Development and maintenance of the data warehouse based on Oracle and MS SQL Server
- Further development of the data warehouse and addition of further views
- Development of preventive/predictive maintenance processes, methods and software evaluation tools based on the data warehouse.
- Identification of optimization potential of existing systems and creation of decision bases regarding feasibility, cost-benefit and risks.
- Creation of concepts incl. architecture
- Support of Data Ware House users in operations and at supplier requirements
Required Skills:
- Experience in MS Access and Visual Basic applications
- Experience with databases (preferably Oracle and MS SQL)
- Experience with C#, Java, PL/SQL
- Experience in LabView and Delphi (Object Pascal) applications
- Structured approach, quick comprehension and networked thinking - ability to work in a team and enjoy team-oriented
- cooperation (internal and external)
- Commitment, perseverance, independence and active gathering of information - Responsible, target-oriented and reliable working methods
- Interest in interdisciplinary problems and new things to get to know
- Experience in measuring and testing technology
- Experience in the medical environment with FDA qualifications
Education:
- University degree in computer science or electronics with focus on software and databases
Languages:
- Excellent German and Communication skills essential
- English (Advanced)
