SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (C# .NET)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English and German speaking SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to join the bank:
You will work within Client Tax Reporting IT where applications to produce tax reports for the bank's clients are developed. The tax reports require a lot of data from all over the banks systems and can get quite complex. High quality is very important. There are multiple large projects for different business and regulatory purposes running at the same time. The applications are built on the bank's standard IT platforms based on Java/JEE/Linux and Mainframe - plus a third party .net application for a AEI (automatic exchange of information) reporting. Many projects have regulatory deadlines or tight schedules so that flexibility and strong team work is required. One of the current and most important projects is AEI (automatic exchange of information) to fulfil regulatory requirements for Switzerland according to OECD CRS standard. For this a new application is currently developed.
For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analyze and understand the third party application and current integration status
- Finalize and stabilize the integration of a third party .net application for a successful AEI reporting 2018
- Configure windows system and install new releases of the third party software
- Implement web-services and batch scripts for integration (authentication, data load etc.)
- Prepare and execute unit and system tests
- Technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
- Analysis and fixing of defects and test environment issues
- Create solution proposals and estimations
You must possess:
- +3 years of experience in development .NET (C#), MSSQL, Web services (REST, SOAP), MQ, FTPS
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Subversion, JIRA
- Experience with PKI (public key infrastructure)
- Experience with windows batch scripts
- Very good team player
- Distinctive analytical thinking, well structured, solution-oriented, autonomous, proactive, flexible, able to work under pressure, communicative, insistent.
- Fluency in German a huge plus
