Software Developer/Business Analyst

As SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/BUSINESS ANALYST, your primary assignment is to handle the further development and continuous improvement of my client's proprietary software and its interfaces with their partners' software. This includes translating business requirements into software functionality, programming software, working with my client's partners' technical experts, supporting customer projects, challenging functionality limits (internal and our partners), and more. Being in the financial industry, affiliation with this sector will help your understanding of business requirements.

EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITHIN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY IS MANDATORY.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define & execute strategic technological roadmap
- Translate customer and business requirements into technological roadmap
- Follow market-trends and ensure my client stays ahead in regulatory mgt
- Outline financial and technical resourcing for IT development
- Align development roadmap with my client's management and partners
- Lead implementation of technological roadmap

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Web Developer (HTML, CSS, Javascript - experience with ExpressJS based frameworks is a requirement, with strong preference for experience with Aurelia and StrongLoop/LoopBack)
- NoSQL database (MongoDB)
- Experience with VCS (GIT preferred)
- Infrastructure - Strong Linux skills and experience with Docker containers.
- A minimum of 5 years professional developer experience
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience in the financial sector
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- English is a must
- Dutch language skills a 'nice to have'.
- High level of independence
- Willingness to travel (occasionally)
