Software Developer (API/Portal)

We are looking for a Software Developer in MA, details:

Location: Burlington, MA

Type: Full time

Start: 2 weeks

This role will be responsible for building API management layers for third party applications such as mobile apps on various platforms such as Android and iOS. Candidate will be part of a highly motivated, fast-paced technical team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform technical evaluation of platforms and technologies, architecture design, API analysis as well as vendor selection.
- Must be excellent in design, architecture of next-gen application API framework
- Must be willing to collaborate with team to produce the best developer's API framework, developer's portal for quick application development.
- Work closely with the business units to define the platform and optimize the user experience.

REQUIRED

- Around 5+ years of experience in software development using technologies like Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and REST.
- 3-4 years extensive experience in using Java for Back End service development.
- 2-3 years in application development and Client Server architectures using object-oriented programming language.
- Other programming languages and knowledge such as Objective C, Scala, C++, Bootstrap (CSS lib), AngularJS (ui framework), ReactJS (ui framework), jQuery (ui widgets) are a plus.
- Good knowledge in Agile development methodology, user experience and usability aspects.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.
- M.S or B.S in Computer Science, Software Engineering, EE or related fields

PREFERED

- Other programming languages such as C++, Scala and Objective C and Scripting are a plus.
