6 MONTHS CONTRACT
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
FLUENT FRENCH & ENGLISH LANGUAGE
RED's key client, a global organisation based near Brussels are looking for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to build and implement a desktop application in a multi-platform environment (Win XP/7/10, Mac OS, Linux). You will work in collaboration with the Product Manager and key users throughout the software development life cycle.
In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. You also have experience in Agile frameworks, UX (Design thinking) and popular coding languages (eg HTML, CSS 3, JavaScript, Java, C++).
Tasks will include:
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Gather and evaluate user feedback
- Recommend and execute improvements
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Write and Perform Unit Testing
Successful candidates will have:
- Proven experience as a Software Developer
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with software design (UX and Design Thinking)
- Knowledge of coding languages (eg C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (eg NodeJs, QT, )
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Communication skills (French and English)
