Yoh has a 6 - 12 month opportunity for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to join our client in Rochester, New York.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for data networking feature development; system designs and defect report analysis.
- Feature lead in porting of government-developed waveforms to new radio platforms.
- Integrates software with platform services and hardware with a strong emphasis on efficiency and performance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Software Development engineer with 5 - 15 years of experience in a software defined radio development.
- Strong C and C++ programming language skills.
- Familiarity with CORBA or other object-oriented development framework.
- Experience with Real Time Embedded systems.
- Experience with SRW or WNW waveforms and Software Communications Architecture.
- Experience with data networking feature development.
- Familiarity with QNX operating system, Networking, Software Communications Architecture, software-defined radio, RF hardware or Digital Signal Processing is strongly preferred.
- Requires good communication skills and the ability to work on a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
