THE ROLE:

My client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their fast-growing team in Amsterdam. You will be working extensively with functional programming languages, working in a Microservices environment based around Containers and Kubernetes. The company is in the process of developing an open-source Microservices platform, and you will join a team designing, building and implementing modular & service based application architectures.

This role will require you to do more than just write code. This is a young, innovative company looking for people who share their vision and want to not just write code, but apply it and produce a high-quality product.

KEY SKILLS

- At least 3 years' experience developing using Scala
- An in-depth knowledge surrounding Docker containers
- Skilled using Kubernetes
- A DevOps background would be preferable, but not essential
- Excellent command of English
- Good communicator
