Software Developer

SUMMARY

- Our team is looking for an experienced monitoring developer.
- Primary work will be to design and develop monitoring solutions using the HP Business Service Management (BSM) application.
- Work requires establishing and documenting requirements with internal customers then developing and validating the solution.
- Monitoring is primarily through VUGEN Scripting in the HP BSM application but this may also including working on other monitoring tools including HP Site Scope, CA Wily, and IBM Tealeaf.
- Will also require providing technical and operational support of existing solutions.

SKILLS:

ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED

- 5+ years of experience working with IT monitoring solutions including the HP suite of applications (BSM, SiteScope, or Operations Manager), CA Wily, or IBM Tealeaf.
- 5+ years of development experience primarily with VUGEN Scripting.
- Displays strong interpersonal communication skills to facilitate working on cross team projects.

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Strong UNIX and Windows OS administration experience.
- Strong Oracle and SQL database experience including development of SQL scripts.
- Experience developing with Java/Groovy Scripting, Perl/Shell Scripting, or C programming.
- Knowledge of IP network design.
