Software Developer

I am recruiting for an exclusive client of Harvey Nash Technology located in Longford.

If you are a Software Developer with a proven background in .NET C#, Visual Studio, VB.NET and in-depth knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle - you must have the technical ability to complete full SDLC and analysis/design/functionality & test of complex solutions - if this sounds like you, then have we should chat!

What the role entails

*In the Contracting Authority a key role for .NET Developers is the development of Stage 2 and beyond systems as well as the maintenance of the existing 18 major live systems
*Liaise with business owners and Civil Service Project Managers and analysts to Develop and maintain Business Systems Applications using VB.NET, Oracle and Visual Studio
*Carry out full unit and system testing
*Liaise with UAT team in development of Test Plans and Test Cases
*Document all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
*Analyse and resolve 2nd Level SRs assigned by Helpdesk
*Analyse data issues and create data fix scripts where required
*Maintain all source code using Visual SourceSafe
