Our large Cork based client has an immediate requirement for a skilled Developer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a recognised client on a daily rate contract basis with a strong possibility of continuous extension.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in Java/JEE client and server technologies
- Knowledge of Unix administration
- Understanding of architectures and design patterns
- Bachelor's degree and relevant software experience.
- Knowledge of the software life cycle
- Be self-motivated
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Shell Scripting
- Experience with developing on Linux
- Experience in an agile environment
- Experience with C
- Knowledge of SAS/SATA/SCSI protocols
- OS device driver knowledge
