SOFTWARE DEVELOPER CHANDLER, AZ 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Senior SW developer to join a team working on automation platforms. This candidate will perform software development, integration, configuration, and debugging for a solution that links multiple platforms securely with remote manageable capabilities. This solution will seek to integrate client hardware roots of trust and Middleware plug-in design and where required, will include developing device drivers for a variety of sensor types, with the required security extensions, that enable device-to-cloud usage models.

This program involves application integration with Real Time protocols (like RTPS w/DDS) and open source protocols like MQTT, Akka, and Kafka, and others are potentially required. The successful candidate will be working with open source system components (CentOS, Debian, Xen, JMS, DDS), proprietary RTOS (VxWorks, WR Linux) products and McAfee security software solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Strong experience in development of complex software systems, including design, coding, debugging, and testing
- 7 years+ software experience, C/C++, Driver experience
- Experience using C, C++, build tool chains, and configuration management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Demonstrable working knowledge of Wind River products, including VxWorks RTOS, Hypervisor, Wind River Linux, and Wind River Workbench
- Linux and Windows OS as user and super user (administrator)
- Eclipse IDE and MS Visual Studio programming and debugging
- Programming and using Real Time operating systems
- Industrial Ethernet, networking architectures, and networking components
- Developing, supporting, installing factory floor automation tools and monitoring capabilities
- SCADA
- Linux and Windows Kernel/driver development
- Knowledge of McAfee security products, Industrial Automation Standards, factory field buses, Real Time protocols, open source protocols: OMG DDS, MQTT, Kafka, Akka
- Any Real Time Hypervisor
