Software Developer

Green Light is currently looking for an experienced and TSPV cleared Software Developer with solid skills in developing software of a project employing an Agile software development methodology (SDM). The SDM must support a business environment in a complex and emerging domain that operates at a rapid pace. This would be an exciting project based opportunity in Canberra.

The Software Developer will be engaged in developing software, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing products using the PALANTIR product. The successful candidate will need highly evolved software development skills and a proven ability to work within an integrated team of developers.

Major responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Undertake design including Data modelling, integration,testing, application support, some system/Palantir administration
- Deliver requirements agreed throughout the agile development process
- Participate in and contribute to design reviews, stakeholder meetings, agile/SCRUM processes
- Provision documentation in accordance with ASD policies and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED:

- Demonstrate competence in Java development
- Demonstrate competence in Palantir development
- Desirable technical skills include but are not limited toUnix/Linux Scripting, SQL, Spring, Jenkins, Gradle, Python, Ruby.
- A proven ability to work as a member of an integrated Agile team
- A proven ability to document technical processes
- Support productive working relationships by working cohesively and flexibly with the developer team, the broader program team, key business partners and stakeholder groups
- Display personal drive and integrity
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate administrative skills, including time management
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively prioritize and allocate tasks.
- Must have essential certifications and qualification.
- Must be NV1 cleared.
