Software Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to join our client in Belmont, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure software quality for Assistance and Autonomous Functions
- Secure intellectual property and develop roadmaps for automotive use
- Represent client in technical community, such as at conferences

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master of Science in in computer science, Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Experience required
- Working knowledge of C/C++ programming and debugging in Linux/Windows
- Working knowledge of software algorithm development
- Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
- Communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written
- Integration - joining people, processes or systems
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Problem solving
- Resource management
- Background or strong interest in automotive Engineering
- Valid driver license in the US
- International travel will be required; Willingness to travel within the US and Canada as well as overseas (especially to Germany)
- Work Flexibility

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Strong knowledge of image processing algorithms
- Strong knowledge in test tool development
- Working knowledge of QA (Quality assurance) processes and their application for larger software development projects
- Project management experience in interdisciplinary and inter-organizational teams, from conception to completion
- Understanding of automotive quality and release processes
- Experience in developing technical requirements specifications, test plans, and verification and validation concepts
