Software Developer (.Net) (Q8)

A 9 week initial contract opportunity currently exists for a Software Developer (.Net) to join this large scale Queensland Government Department.

The .NET Developer will be required to work within the Business Applications - Applications Support and Development Team on a number of projects within the Organisation.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE .NET DEVELOPER WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING;

- Extensive programming experience (minimum 5 years), systems analysis and in the design, development and implementation of .NET 3.5 application with 2008 SQL Back End.
- Highly developed skills with reference to the following technologies:
- C# and/or VB.NET (must be expert in at least one of these and aware of the other);
- Microsoft IIS Web Server;
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Proficiency in T-SQL;
- SQL, SSIS/SSRS and
- XML.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a small team environment with individual deliverables and expectations within overall project objectives and goals
- Proven ability to interpret requirements and generate functioning code with minimal rework
