Software Dev Engineer OOD

Our hugely popular client provides tools and documentation to help developers create applications that run on their bestselling mobile entertainment device. The SDK team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to help release emulators for the mobile device SDK. Candidates should understand software development for mobile devices, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be eager to take on new responsibilities, and have a track record of delivering high quality, mission critical systems. In this role you will work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver user experiences to the marketplace. You will collaborate with the product teams to deliver the best product with most efficient use of resources and technologies. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Computer Science fundamentals in Object Oriented Design
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Perl

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated ability to proactively and continually improve knowledge of the client's business and relevant technologies, and use this knowledge to deliver high quality, accurate software deliverables
- Clear, professional communication skills and ability to contribute to team discussions, knowing when to contribute, when to listen, and when to ask questions
- Experience developing in a Linux environment
- Experience with Make files and Ant build scripts
- Experience with continuous integration tools like Hudson or Jenkins
- Experience with at least one Scripting language
- Experience with mobile development

Our client is expected to be 4 months in duration.
