Our hugely popular client is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join their engineering team and to stamp the quality of its business critical system. The systems need to meet remarkably high standards of quality, performance and reliability, operating around the clock on a massive scale. If you are a talented, detail-oriented and enthusiastic SDET who is passionate about quality and is enthusiastic about coding for testing, then this is the right team for you!

The candidate is expected have a strong drive for results, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. S/He should be fully capable of understanding complex systems and developing the tools to test the functional, performance quality of the same. This SDET is also expected to be significant contributors in the development of high quality test automation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience in testing or development desired
- Programming experience with Java, C++ and/or Perl required
- Extensive experience developing test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience with functional, performance and stress testing for Back End services is a big plus
- Experience developing high quality test strategies and test plans.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to impossible-to-solve problems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience developing in a Linux environment
