Software Dev Engineer in Test

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of software development engineer in test experience
- Expert knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
- Advanced to Expert knowledge of Linux
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
- Proven ability to create, execute, and maintain comprehensive and air-tight test plans
- Enthusiasm to dig into technical specifications and to troubleshoot problems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Linux or Windows Network Administration including: Active Directory/LDAP, VPN/IPSEC/L2TP, DNS, VLANs/RRAS/OpenSwan, Kerberos, DHCP, CA/OpenSSL/X.509/SCEP, Apache/Tomcat/IIS, Firewalls, Proxies
- Diverse QA experience on a variety of platforms: websites, smart phones, rich client applications (PC and Mac), and Back End services
- Experience building test harnesses and test tools (Selenium, TestNG, Junit)
- Android development experience
- Fluency in Java, Python or C#
- Experience with Selenium
- Cisco Certification
- Cloud Computing experience (AWS/EC2)
- Certified Wireless Network Professionals
- Experience testing Back End web services
- Experience in Perl/Python/JavaScript or another Scripting language and user-level testing automation
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results
- Creativity and initiative for improving product coverage and effectiveness
