Software Dev Engineer

Our hugely popular client is looking for a senior SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to lead the technical design and implementation of an internal invoice solution for their South American subsidiaries. If you are excited by the idea of designing a complex solutions based on XML, Web Services, SharePoint and InfoPath, then this may be the right opportunity for you.

This team operates as a startup within the client organization, providing great flexibility in product and technology direction. You will be a key player in driving strategic design, working close to all the stakeholders, designing processes, workflows and XML forms based on InfoPath.

Ideal Software Development Engineer candidate is passionate, experienced, and capable of delivering high quality platform solutions that support a variety of customer use cases.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years' experience building successful production software systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs
- Experience developing service oriented architectures and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C/C++, C#, Java
- 5+ years of experience in Visual Studio .Net, SharePoint and InfoPath
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience developing services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
- Knowledge of system performance methodologies along with hands on empirical monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
- Expertise in delivering high-quality, innovative applications based on Microsoft technology
- Strong desire to build and a sense of ownership
- Excellent written communication and verbal agility are strong assets

This contract position is expected to be 3 months in duration.
