Our client is a world renowned company looking for self-motivated, fast-working, Software Engineer who is able to implement a basic USB peripheral app on both the Windows client side and the peripheral side (Embedded C-code on a Microcontroller).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Excellent C/C++ development/debug skills for basic Windows application targeting USB HID peripherals
- Excellent C/C++ development/debug skills targeted for an Embedded Microcontroller including implementation of Real Time clocks, interrupt handlers, timers, finite memory management, JTAG, etc.
- Working knowledge to integrate/utilize standard serial interfaces such as I2C, USB, and SPI on an Embedded controller
- Working knowledge developing simple GFX applications targeted to OLED displays/peripherals
- Experience developing to written, but somewhat dynamic, software requirements with internal product marketing and architecture teams
- Strong software validation and test acumen
- Ability to analyze and debug issues using scopes, analyzers, etc.
- Ability to move at a fast, productive pace adhering to specific milestones and delivery dates

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Imaginative approach and out-of-the-box thinking to try new ideas as schedules permit
- Experience working with wireless products
