Software Designer Comptel Eventlink (f/m)

For one of our clients we are looking for a SOFTWARE DESIGNER COMPTEL EVENTLINK (F/M)

PURPOSE OF ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify and define the responsibilities, operations, attributes and relationships of application design elements
- Design the user interface
- Design and agree the interface to other internal and external systems
- Design database structure and update data model
- Ensure that the application design is consistent with the application software architecture
- Design object model
- Update data model
- Ensure that the application design is detailed to a point where implementation can proceed.
- Application Knowhow is added advantage
- Programming languages
- Technical and analytical skills
- Solution architecture and design skills
- Agile methods

YOUR PROFILE:

- A computer science degree or similar
- Professional experience in software development projects, ideally in agile teams
- Know-how in Telco domain and good understanding of Comptel EventLink tool
- Extensive experience in programming with Oracle PL/SQL, Perl, C, C++
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Python, Puppet, JIRA, Open LDAP
- German and English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer focus and flexibility to travel

START: October 2017
DURATION: 3 months+ (up to 3 years, depending on performance)
