Software Design Engineer in Test

SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER IN TEST REDMOND, WA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a strong SDET who has a passion for testing, has at least 3 years of experience testing web services, and has good coding skills (in .NET, using Visual Studio ecosystem preferably). Experience in C/C++ and/or load/stress testing is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in daily scrum meetings and share updates
- Create test specs for the features being added
- Test the features being added, file bugs and drive to closure
- Implement test automation for the new features (using existing framework)
- Analyze test failures from test pass, file bugs
- Run/Analyze/Report on the stress/load testing
- Help with investigation of customer reported issues

REQUIREMENTS:

- Test aptitude
- Problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently, coding skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Good work ethic
- Collaborative, someone who is not afraid to ask questions
