Software Design Engineer in Test

SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER IN TEST REDMOND, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

you'll work as part of a small development team and be responsible for solving complex testing challenges with an emphasis on automation and quality processes. you'll apply your keen QA perspective to both Legacy production code and cutting edge solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Partner with the Scrum team to plan, write, execute and refactor manual and automated test cases to provide story coverage.
- Implement test code within a best-fit automation framework.
- Develop test designs and test cases.
- Communicate status frequently and participate in cross-group and internal customer feature demos.
- Document process, designs, test results, and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-3 plus years software testing experience
- Ability to write automated test scripts, code in C# and understand complex .NET projects
- Agile process workflow experience
- Web Services and multitier applications experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and JSON
- Strong test plan and test case creation using TFS/Test Manager and TWA
- Good communication skills and passion for problem solving
- Knowledge of personal computer hardware may be required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
