Software Design Engineer in Test

We are looking for an SDET with experience developing and testing mobile apps, specifically Windows Phone if possible. In this role, you will be creating test cases, writing test automation, and executing test passes for a new app (written in Silverlight). Candidates for the position must have 1-3+ years software testing experience and familiarity in at least one language (C#, Java, C/C++, etc.). Strong communication and cross-team collaboration with other testers and developers will also be important.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

- Creating test cases and plans
- Writing test automation
- Executing tests
- Logging well-crafted bugs (solid repro steps, etc.)
- Communicating results to team

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

- Software testing experience (filing bugs, writing test cases, etc.)
- Programming experience (test case automation, etc.)
- Experience developing or testing mobile applications (Windows Phone preferable, but iOS and Android also acceptable)
- Familiarity in at least one programming language
- Familiarity with Visual Studio

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
