Software Design Engineer in Test

SW DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER IN TEST

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work will involve developing/maintaining camera functionality tests and test apps in C++ and/or C#, creating capture tests using media Foundation APIs in Windows, testing camera functionality and quality in different Windows based devices and creating test plans.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Test and debug of development team's deliverables. Maintain and develop new tests and test infrastructure.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE LEVEL: 3-10 years of Windows Test development experience, (SDET), with education in CS, CompE, or related disciplines. Windows test, preferably with driver level experience (likely from Windows HW projects), and/or Windows OS projects with experience in C++ and/or experience with Direct Show/Media Foundation technologies. Experience testing multimedia will be given preference.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in C++
- Experience in Windows operating system
- Debug and investigate test failures with developers
- Create and report metrics for tests
- Create automation for both camera functionality and UI
- Improve test infrastructure by creating tools and automation

NICE TO HAVE:

- Understanding camera sensor for tablets and familiarity with image processing preferred
- Knowledge of Windows drivers and experience a plus
