Software Design Engineer in Test

Our client is the Northwest's hugely popular software company seeking a SDET candidate with web service/site testing and automation experience to contribute to the creation of a V1 Ingestion Portal web service.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

- Reading specs
- writing test plans
- Creation and review of test cases
- Updating shared test libraries
- Updating or adding automated test cases
- Executing and validation of automated tests
- Reporting results
- Driving requirements
- Reporting status
- Finding bugs in code

QUALIFICATIONS

- Large scale software enterprise experience required
- 4+ years software testing experience
- C# coding
- Automation Scripting for web services (APIs and UX)
- Web services testing
- Must have general knowledge of software quality assurance practices
- Knowledge of Internet protocols and networking fundamentals preferred
- Knowledge of personal computer hardware may be required
- Must have solid understanding of software development cycle
- Demonstrated project management ability required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required and some industry experience preferred
- M-F 9 - 6, remote work, with some overtime

This contract position is expected to be 6-7 months in duration.
