Software Design Engineer in Test

OUR HUGELY POPULAR CLIENT\'S GAMES TEST ORGANIZATION IS LOOKING FOR A STRONG SDET TO HELP WRITE AUTOMATED API TESTS OF SYSTEM THAT MAKE UP A NEW MULTIPLE PLATFORM GAME. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to make an impact on the next generation of great games & entertainment experiences across multiple platforms.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong development and debugging skills with C# (and experience with.NET 3.5+)
- 3+ years of development + testing experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
- Passion for technology
- Passion for gaming

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and develop API tests for automated testing
- Perform Code Reviews
- Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
- Leveraging existing test automation infrastructure
- Owning areas of a project
- Utilizing White Box testing techniques
- Working under the supervision of a Senior SDET
- Effectively communicate & report feature quality and state

BONUS:

- Game Testing experience
- Experience with Security testing/fuzzing tools
- Experience with Performance/Stress testing tools and methodologies
- Experience with network testing tools like netmon and fiddler
- Experience with a bug tracking system
- Experience shipping 2 or more software products
- Comfortable dealing with and taking on ambiguous technical challenges

This contract position is expected to be 11-12 months in duration.
