Software Design Engineer in Test

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test to collaborate with product owners, architects, software engineers, and other testers implement and execute critical components of a service architecture that runs on Windows Azure. You should find joy and beauty in conceiving, creating, and owning services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work within an agile development environment
- Design, write and execute automated tests, and perform repeatable testing procedures and processes according to documented test plans
- Collaborate with software engineers and senior testers to ensure the quality, integrity, and deployability of every single build

Qualifications:

- 1+ years programming experience in an Object Oriented programming language, eg C#, C++, Java
- Experience writing unit and components tests using.Unit or MSTest style frameworks
- Working knowledge of the.NET Framework
- Working knowledge of Agile development
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Exposure to Windows Azure a plus
- Ability to take ownership and driving tasks/issues to completion
- Ability to design tests of various kinds such as functional, white-box (structural), performance, integration
- Ability to collaborate with SDEs and senior SDETs proactively seeking feedback on test designs and providing feedback on product designs
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent years of relevant work experience
