Software Design Engineer in Test

Our client is the Northwest's signature software company seeking a capable SDET to manage scheduled and ad-hoc test pass execution and triaging failures caused by infrastructure in a lab environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Planning and executing automated test runs for multiple teams using scheduling and test run tools
- Creating workflows for test automation execution
- Basic troubleshooting on job failures
- Maintenance and improvement on the test automation execution system
- Working with the hardware support team to maintain lab capabilities
- Working with engineers to deliver test results to client teams

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-3 years software testing experience including 1 year in a Windows Client Server environment required
- Experience in the following areas: WTT, ASI 3.0, Microsoft Excel, Source Depot
- Basic troubleshooting skills in Windows Setup and network problems
- Scripting skills in PowerShell and Batch file knowledge a plus
- Effective communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
