Software Design Engineer in Test

For this position with a world-renowned company, we need someone who can build and operate a suite of tests that will help guarantee that the client's continuous builds don't negatively impact the customer. This candidate will report on test failures and partner with Dev/PM to make sure the right tests are written.

The ideal candidate will have the scope to consider the behavior of end-to-end web solutions and propose and build tests that exercise critical functionality to guard against regressions and user impacting changes. Must be able to analyze designs and develop overall test plans, and perform repeatable testing procedures and processes. Responsibilities include functional verification of web UX, web-based APIs, interpreting and modifying code as required including C#, C/C++, batch files, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, identifying and defining project team quality and risk metrics. Providing assistance to other testers. The candidate will need enterprise level configuration skills. Development cycle involves rapid-iteration around user experiences, so ability to adjust to new requirements on a frequent basis will be needed.

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration with possibility of extension.
