Software Design Engineer HTML5

Our client is the NORTHWEST\'S SIGNATURE SOFTWARE COMPANY seeking a SOFTWARE ENGINEER to provide development toward the UPCOMING RELEASE of a new authoring application.

WORK WILL CONSIST IN THE CREATION OF THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES OF CONTROLS:

- HTML5 WinRT controls used within the authoring application. Example of such controls include: a color wheel picker, a text font picker, a data source chooser. This list is not exhaustive and is subject to changes
- Browser-compatible HTML 5 controls are included in the output of the application. Examples include: a carrousel, a gallery control, a map control, etc.
- HTML5 WinRT controls included in the output. Examples include: a carrousel, a gallery control, a map control, etc.

SCOPE OF THE WORK INCLUDES:

- Design of features in accordance to the team design conventions
- Implementation of features in accordance to the team coding conventions
- Implementation of unit tests and functional tests
- Bug fixes
- Dev documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

- 2+ years of industry experience with the following web technologies: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3
- 2+ years of industry experience programming experience with JavaScript or JAVA
- Experience with Win-8 WWA app or control creation a plus
- Experience with additional technologies like J-QUERY a plus
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or worked on a multi-year large scale project on the web.
