Software Design Engineer C# ASP.NET

For this contract position with a super high-visibility corporation, you will provide an internal dashboard for one of their data pipelines. This dashboard will include easy-to-read user interface showing a graphical presentation of the various state of the data pipeline and historical trends to enable instantaneous and informed decisions to be made at a glance. This dashboard will be generated by aggregating data from various sources.

The Developer will work with the client's Data Pipeline and should be capable of understanding existing reporting systems and dataflow, participation in design sessions, and contributing positively to the dashboard design. The Developer may deliver some of data for this dashboard by gathering existing data.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation associated with the dashboard
- Design and development of the dashboard
- Design and development some of data flow powering the dashboard
- Participation in meetings to demo, collect requirements to refine dashboard
- Communicate progress and issues on a regular and timely basis.
- Bug tracking and management. Bug follow-up by doing root cause analysis, enhancing test coverage as needed.
- Work closely with team members from the Program Management, Development

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 5 years of development experience
- Proficient C# and ASP.NET development skills
- Extensive experience with SQL Server or equivalent database
- Extensive experience with HTML design
- Experience with Microsoft Scope/Cosmos a definitive plus
- Ability to work with the Developers, Program Managers to understand requirements
- Excellent communication skills, ie fluency in written and spoken English

This contract position is expected to be 2-3 months in duration.
