The Developer in this contract position will work on the Regression Test Framework for our high-visibility client's search engine and internal partners. This consists of a test framework and associated test cases, as well as tools and reporting infrastructure for triggering, viewing and investigating test results. The framework, tests and associated tools were developed by the API team in collaboration with other internal partners to validate the response content and compliance between partnering search results. This Developer will maintain the suite, investigate the cause of failures on test, pre-production and production beds, and engage with owner teams to fix or address inconsistencies in the results. The Developer is expected to be familiar working with C++, C#, XML, HTML and Scripting technologies, as well as a variety of protocols and data formats, such as HTTP and JSON. S/He will also work on enhancing the capabilities of the framework to meet the needs of new features developed, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience of C++ development (middle tier/Back End, not UX)
- Test framework development skills
- Failure diagnostic and tracing experience
- Ability to dive in and understand existing code in distributed systems

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
