Software Design Engineer ASP.NET SQL

Our client is the Pacific Northwest's signature software brand seeking a qualified Developer to assist with the launch of a new release of one of their very popular products. The project primarily focuses on building the new UI automation framework and migrating the existing applications to the new infrastructure. It would also involve automating some of the new features. The automation is required to be of high quality and is to be included in automation runs.

REQUIREMENTS

- 3+ years of previous SDE experience
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and the existing automation framework
- 3+ years of experience coding in C# and.NET programming skills
- Experience with SQL, WCF, ASP.NET, web development
- Experience with WTT, Visual Studio
- College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related technical discipline preferred with 4-5 years of experience supporting Internet facing enterprise applications
- Solid development, debugging, testing and problem solving skills
- Ability to clearly communicate concerns about code and collaborate with test, devs and PMs to effectively solve software challenges
- High level of personal accountability and "self-starter" attitude in order to make progress in ambiguous situations
- Passion for software quality
- Excellent written and oral communication and project management skills required

This contract position is expected to be 8 months in duration.
