SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER - REDMOND, WA - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Our hugely popular client as a need for 2 solid SQL Developers to support, troubleshoot, and improve a large scale, near Real Time, reporting system for their online games services.

Note: Routine DBA Maintenance tasks are already handled by a separate DBA support team.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

- Decent C#, .NET Framework skills
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server
- Very strong T-SQL skills
- Ability to analyze query plans
- Proficiency with using TFS to manage SQL Source Code
- Debug job failures
- Identify unneeded SQL dependencies and flag for removal
- There is a 24 X 7 on call support requirement
- Two people will need to share a weekly on-call rotation
- The person in this role would only be engaged if the on-call DBA cannot find/fix the issue
- PowerShell skills a plus
- Knowledge of big data warehouse solution/Scope language a plus
