The candidate will assist in the development and configuration of OS images intended for use in PPI devices. These images are produced by a home-grown PowerShell based infrastructure where firmware, drivers and applications are merged with different versions of the OS to create a unique system image. Candidate must also be able to contribute to efforts related to the automation and provisioning of these images.

We re looking for a Developer familiar with handling hardware components, capable of reconfiguring hardware devices and peripherals on a device (memory, hard drive).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Imaging: knowledge, experience and expertise on Windows OS imaging technologies and tools; DISM, ADK, WIM files, unattended installations, driver INF files, MSI installations, etc.
- Provisioning: hands-on experience related to drive partitioning, gpt, diskpart, bcdedit, low level BIOS configuration tools (BIOS flashing, etc.)
- Deployment: PXE booting, WinPE
- Scripting: PowerShell and DOS Scripting
- Basic Driver Development: understanding of INF files, driver signatures and certificates (not expected to write device drivers but must be capable of installing, modifying and manipulating OS drivers as part of system imaging and configuration activities)
- App Development: experience developing Windows services capable of gathering system information and sending to a remote server for diagnostics purposes; simple internal-use-only modern applications to support development and system deployment
- Server Side Development: ability to develop internal use applications for development support capable of collecting data from remote clients
- Knowledge of how to interface with low level hardware devices through serial cables desired
- Nice to have: Version Control SourceDepot, git

Work hours: M-F 8-5, no remote work
