Right now we re seeking a candidate with strong C programming skills and good knowledge of algorithms and data. Project will require implementing cryptographic algorithms in C and possibly C++. Code must be readable, maintainable, and have good performance. Project also requires benchmarking cryptographic algorithms to measure performance. Knowledge of side channels and cryptography is a plus.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required
- 5+ years experience required
- Strong C programming skills
- C++ skills desirable
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures required
- Ability to implement cryptographic algorithms in C and possibly C++
- Knowledge of side channels and cryptography a plus
- Code must be readable, maintainable, and have good performance
- Ability to benchmark cryptographic algorithms to measure performance
- Knowledge of how caches and other hardware aspects affect performance
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time
- Expert mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback desired
- Expert knowledge of the full software development life cycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery
- Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue
