Software Design Engineer

Our client is the most recognizable name in the software industry seeking a strong SDE to join the team responsible for development of productivity tools to design, implement, release, and monitor relevance components for their high-visibility search engine.

The team's mission is to maximize the productivity and effectiveness of the relevance engineers focused on improving the quality of the search engine. This new and exciting problem space poses many engineering challenges but inspired the creation of never-before-seen, state-of-the-art highly efficient and reliable platforms and tools. Providing a laboratory for executing experiments was just the beginning - this is a development ecosystem that is naturally collaborative. Number of users and amounts of data managed grows daily and client technologies play a fundamental role in the life cycle of relevance components.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer to help implement the most usable, reliable, and efficient development and experimentation ecosystem. The SDE in this role will be focused on capacity assets management system with the goal of improving the utilization of storage and computational resources.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

- A few years of software development experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Software design and development experience in C# and ASP.NET
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of SQL a plus

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
