My Worcestershire based client is currently looking to recruit a GUI and PC/MAC Software Design Engineer within the audio industry. The role will involve being a key player within a small design team developing world class products, as well as being able to specialise in GUI development that enables remote control of products. You will also need to be able to understand and respond to customer requirements concerning audiophile quality expectation.

You will be responsible for developing software for computers to support GUI graphics generation and interfacing to products, as well as working with hardware and embedded designers to debug designs and develop effective software test
strategies.

Key skills include:

- Experience with modern commercial computers and consumer mobile devices.
- Comprehensive understanding of graphics generation
- An understanding of computer interfacing and market trends.
- Knowledge of C and C++ with experience of other software languages.
- Familiarity of general electronic principles especially relating to audio
