Software Deployment Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and package
- software deployment objects utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
- Follow industry best practices for deployment in
- the corporate desktop computing environment.
- Test all parameters for
- software, upgrades, and patches to be deployed at all local and remote locations including
- virtual environments.
- Provide software support expertise for installed software.
- Provide support and direction to IT support personnel related to software installation process and procedure.
- Maintain the software repository.
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.

SKILLS

Skills:

- Must have 2+ years' experience analysing and resolving software-related issues/problems, utilizing troubleshooting skills and problem solving techniques.
- Must have 2+ years of hands-on Windows 7
- Operating System experience managing software upgrades and new products.
- Must have 2+ years of experience with technical communication & documentation, and 2+ years of experience in electronic unattended software deployment and development of application objects.
- Two or more (2+) years of packaging and deployment experience with Microsoft SCCM also required.

Nice to have:

- Experience with Admin Studio (Flexera)

Education:

- Associates degree as a Network Specialist, Microcomputer Specialist, or related field preferred.
