Software Configuration Management Engineer Job

SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chandler, AZ.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Client's IOTG ARP Solutions team is looking for a Configuration Management Engineer. This person will be responsible for maintaining the health of the software repositories, ensuring that the software can be successfully built, packaged, versioned and is always functional.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage source code and binary repositories (eg: gitHub, Artifactory)
- Establish and manage build/packaging system
- Establish release procedures
- Develop SW release packaging versioning/manifest info
- Static scans (ProtextIP and Klocwork)
- Produce periodic builds and packages with versioning and link to CI (Continuous Integration) and Test infrastructures (eg Jenkins or other)
- SysAdmin for repositories
- JIRA admin

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years of experience in software configuration management, including definition and implementation of software configuration and build flows and automation, including setup and deployment of build environments on MS Windows and Linux based Servers.
- Three (3) years of experience in setting up, administering and automating source and binary repositories and version control (eg: gitHub, Artifactory, cvs, etc.)
- Three (3) years of experience ins setting up, administering, and automating, build and packaging systems for distribution of SW products (eg Buildbot, TeamCity, Jenkins)
- Two (2) years of experience setting up, administering, and automating, software defect and Scrum tracking systems (eg: JIRA, HSD, etc...)
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience in Scripting languages (eg: Python and Perl) to support automation and integration of environments in the Build Deployment flow.
