Software Compliance Manager

COMPLIANCE/SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT/SC/SECURITY CLEARANCE/SOFTWARE LICENSING

OUR CLIENT, IT SOLUTIONS PROVIDER IS LOOKING FOR A SOFTWARE COMPLIANCE MANAGER TO WORK ON A 6 MONTH CONTRACT IN LEEDS.

The role involves managing and directing the work of the Software and Configuration Specialists for the Internal Service and customer accounts. The main purpose of the Software Compliance Manager is to provide a single point of contact for an Organisation's Estate with the responsibility for owning and controlling Software Licence Management and Software Application Installation Management across the business and providing the information required enabling an organisation to remain legally compliant. The position also includes responsibility for providing advice and guidance to the Organisations users and reporting on adherence to IT Software usage and Licence purchase policies.

The role requires:

- Knowledge and experience of Software Asset Management Industry Standards
- Excellent understanding of Tier 1 Vendor software licensing programmes
- Understanding of the necessity for Compliance and associated UK Legislation
- Extensive experience in Software Compliance Management, leadership experience and proven experiencing achieving KPI's etc.
- Degree or equivalent
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Good Analytical skills and attention to detail
