Software Build & Release Engineer

Our client, an IT Service provider in Zurich currently seeks a Build and Release Engineer for a 12 month project (optional extension) based on-site with one of their customers based in greater Zurich. This 12 month project will pay approximately 75 to 85 CHF per hour.

The responsibilities of the Build and Release engineer include

- Design build and delivery chain
- Automate modular steps of build pipeline
- Develop and maintain release management process
- Define, set up and maintain build infrastructure
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance of build
- Develop and enforce best practiced for build and release
- Ensure compliance to development standards

The technical requiresments of the Build and Release engineer include

- 3 years experience in release engineering or confuguration management
- Experience with build management tools (Teamcity, MSBuild)
- Subversion, Git, Artifactory or other software config management systems
- Experience in one or many Scripting langauges
- Experience with installation programs (InstsllShield, Windows Installer)
- SCRUM Experience

Good German language skills are MANDATORY for this application.
