Software Build Engineer

The industry-leading software brand is looking for a SOFTWARE BUILD ENGINEER to manage, lead, and perform branch integrations in a new distributed compute and storage project. This project entails migrating a very large codebase from C++/C# to new research programming language and operating system, where the integrations must keep flowing smoothly during the project. The ideal candidate is familiar with Object Oriented languages (such as C++, C#, and/or Java), source control systems (such as Source Depot), and Scripting environments (such as PowerShell). This is a challenging, fast-paced environment, so self-drive and an ability to "just do the right thing" is highly valued. Since you will be porting to a research language and operating system also means that you will need to rapidly learn many new technologies in a short period of time.

Work will involve performing branch integrations almost exclusively, but likely helping out with other test needs. This person will need to stay on top of changes in the original codebase and manually convert them to the new environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Branch management/build systems, ideally Source Depot and Visual Studio/MS Build-based
- C# programming
- C++ programming
- PowerShell Scripting.
- Entry level-2 years' work related experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
