Software Asset Manager (Flexible Location)

Eingestellt von Lloyds Banking Group

Gesuchte Skills: Support, Sap

Projektbeschreibung

Our vision is to make Lloyds Banking Group the best bank for customers. As the UK's largest retail and commercial bank, we have a footprint that touches nearly every community and household in the UK. That gives us a big responsibility to support the UK economy, and to put customers at the heart of everything we do. To achieve this, we also need to be the best bank for our colleagues and our communities - and we have a clear strategy in place to make this a reality. We are building on our many strengths: iconic brands, strong heritages and great people. To unlock the great potential in our business, we are becoming more efficient, more transparent, and more responsive to customers. Already the UK's largest community investor, we are giving even more back. Above all, we are putting customers first.

Lloyds Banking Group are building the best IT Asset & Configuration Management team and currently looking for an experienced Software Asset Manager to support our technical teams with the management of our Software License Compliance position.

You'll have the responsibility for helping ensure that our IT Software Assets are managed and controlled via industry standard processes.

And also, with the scope to help us develop our IT Asset & Configuration strategy which will provide a companywide view of our toolsets, data and holistic view of all IT Assets and Config. items.

You'll also have a strong understanding of license models, technical platforms and contractual obligations to manage enterprise wide software contracts, e.g. Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, VMWare, and SAP

So be very cost aware with excellent supplier (& vendor) management experience and credibility to build excellent relationships that will help us drive commercial value for Lloyds Banking Group.

ITIL and/or ISEB certifications would be an advantage but what's more important to us will be your understanding and management of risk with your proven Software Asset Management (SAM) experience, ideally gained from a similarly large and complex organisation that will help us develop and embed best practice and process.

This is an excellent opportunity to help us make a difference and achieve our vision to be the best bank for our customers.

In return, we'll recognise and reward your performance. Our award-winning benefits package includes a flexible option that allows you to choose cash or pick from a wide range of benefits. These include a contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance and retail discount vouchers. You'll also have our full support, training and opportunities for both personal and professional development.

While our Software Asset Manager can be based in various locations - Leeds (Pudsey), Halifax (Copley), Manchester, London, or Bristol, there is an expectation that you'll also manage a small team of our Software licence specialists who are based in Pudsey & Copley, so working outside of this area would require you to virtual manage and work more independently but still an essential member of our team.
