SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT BELLEVUE, WA 6 MONTH CONTRACT

SUMMARY:
Document and identify gaps in IT and business processes through process mapping to illustrate current and future state & present software upgrades and security strategies to sales team/customer.

Education/Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's degree. Specialization in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science or Math is desirable. 2 to 4 years experience.

Support and lead SW Asset Management Account engagements that will include the following work activities and deliverables:

- Meeting with the client Team and/or Partner to coordinate and review of the SW Asset Mgt objectives for the account. Conduct independent account engagements per direction of the PM. Activities will also include prospecting for engagements and account management activities from introduction to the program to overseeing all activities and processes in each account.
- Once SW inventory data has been compiled per account, analyze the data for current status of IOS versions, PSIRTS, aging, variability, and vulnerability. Perform trend analysis by product family and/or location to establish a SW Asset Mgt profile model for the account. This will include researching any current and past Service Delivery cases that involve software issues to ensure the engagement data gathering includes the customer experience with SW related problems.
- Organize and lead the SW Asset Mgt review with the account team and/or customer, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) with communicating the results and recommended corrective actions for the account. Part of the role will also be to create a high level executive summary, based on the customer's data and review this presentation with the account team and customer at executive levels. Also provide monthly and quarterly metrics showing both the quality and quantity of information derived from the accounts and the sales opportunities that have been recommended to the account teams. Produce any ad hoc reports that are need to track progress or communicate to Cisco Management.
- Work with the PM in investigating how to expand the SW Asset Mgt program to include Application Software Products. This will include analysing the data mining opportunities to extract licensing information from the SWIFT database to show the type and quantity of SW Applications have been sold and/or deployed in the customer's account.
