Software Architect / Reading / BerkshireThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leading financial client.OverviewThe Senior Software Architect will provide leadership and direction on high-level comprehensive technical solution designs that address the needs of key stake holders from IT Development and Operations areas on a large development projects. The suitable candidate will be experienced in the logical and physical design/architecture and specification of IT solutions in complex real-time and batch based business environments involving the integration of a number of complex legacy applications.Requirements: Prior experience as a Senior Architect on multiple large scale projects is preferred.Strong knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, systems design and integration with a detailed understanding of applicable programming methodologies.The applicant must be able to communicate well with non-technical business people and technical IT people.Technical expertise in alignment with application development, (NET vs. Java, Windows vs. Unix SOA, etc).Technical design experience that includes Performance, Security, Availability, as well as Operations, Monitoring and Support.Experience with requirements analysis and strategic planning.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Technical & Professional Skills Broad architectural experience based on practical experience gained working in a systems development environment, ideally working on major applications from feasibility to implementation.Development and analysis of complex application architectures.A broad understanding of current technologies and development methods.Please send your CV now for immediate consideration.
