Software Architect / Project Manager - Zurich

For my client, a reputable and strong asset manager with 15 offices worldwide and bn under asset management, I am looking for a Software Architect / Project manager

You will be joining a business technology team and be responsible for the applications that are essential to the business.

This means that you need to understand the business needs but also be in charge of the development, customisation and enhancement of these applications.

The challenge:

- System architecture for the applications that run the business
- Development and enhancement of core business applications and processes
- Project management of large projects ensuring deadlines are met and effective planning with multiple business units
- Actively participate in development

You have:

- university degree in information technology or sciences/mathematics
- understanding/experience in the asset management industry
- 10 years of software design and programming experience in the financial industry as well as an excellent knowledge of relational databases
- 5 years software project management experience
- Ideally experience in T-SQL OR C# OR Java and any scripting languages an advantage
