Software Architect

For one of our clients that develops and manufactures high-quality opto-mechatronic systems and modules for international machine manufacturers we are looking for a Software Architect. They have a focus on the imaging & printing, semiconductor, medical and analytical industries. They provide engineering, assembly and sheet-metal work for its exacting customers.

START: ASAP
DURATION: 1 year (with extansion)
LOCATION: Eindhoven
LANGUAGE: English (Dutch is pre)

As a software architect you will be translating a concept via requirements to a design, defining what tools and technologies to use and setting up test specifications, all in cooperation with the System architect and Design Engineers.

You support the system architect and project manager to determine the technical fesibility and risk analysis in your own discipline.

You will be defining and implementing the tools, technology and development process roadmap for software, together with lead engineers and SW architects.

Skills:

- Degree in Computing Science, Software Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years experience in developing software
- Broad experience with different platforms (window, linux), development processes (scrum/agile, TDD, MDD), programming languages (c, C++,c#) and tools (Visual Studio, enterprise architect, jira, bitbucket, SVN)
- Important to interact with the NTS System Architect, but also with the end user on technical aspects.
- You have a long term vision on developing software and can implement technology/process changes.
- Dutch is a pre.
