Software Applications Engineer

Skilled Software Applications Engineer needed to assist on a project that involves imaging our existing Servers and then placing those images into the new virtual environment. The server imaging and standing in new environment will be handled by the server team. The need is to have someone verify new environment is operational and to verify that the application and database is operational. If not operational then candidate will need to make the necessary changes to make it operational and document steps taken to do so. Once new Servers and application are deemed operational, steps need to be taken to plan out the roll of new environment to production and document steps taken. Also 1 or more of the Servers may require a complete application rebuild in new environment should the server imaging, performed by server team, fail.

- Database experience, MySQL preferred
- Server experience, desirable
- IIS
- Good communication skills
- Ability to figure things out on own with little direction/assistance
- Ability to accurately document processes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years experience.
