Software and Hardware Asset Manager

The Territory is currently reviewing its ICT Asset Management with particular focus on IT Hardware and Software Asset Management practices. As part of this we are seeking to engage specialist services to assist in coordinating, informing and promulgating:

- review of existing asset management policies and processes, including:
- meet with the current function owner, understanding the current arrangements and challenges experienced;
- arranging and attending site visits and meetings with ACT Government Directorates to understand any logistical issues, how they operate and potential constraints or issues; and
- meeting with other business owners who directly affect the process and could impact the effectiveness of any potential solution implementation.
- highlight report documenting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the existing approach to asset management, and the Territory's aim of achieving a whole of life integrated asset management approach;
- implementation plan to provide approach for resolution of the stakeholder requirements and provide a fully integrated asset management system including policies, processes and systems.
- Manage the outcome documenting progress, challenges or issues for escalation in a timely manner in a quality form.

The expectations of the individual engaged will include: 

- awareness of the ACT Government requirements in terms of ICT Asset;
- management and best practice methodologies. Particular focus should be applied to the role of the Territory in:
- effective stakeholder engagement and signoff;
- planning and process management;
- escalation and reporting as required; and
- achieving delivery of a quality outcome in accordance with deadlines.
- ability to document plans, briefs, risks and issues including identification and management of expectations that will be aligned with tight deadlines; and
- ability to coordinate and conduct meetings, information sessions, achieve and document outcomes to reflect progress within short timeframes. 

DELIVERABLES 

- Stakeholder management and engagement plan; for review by the Territory.
- ICT Asset process and policy review and SWOT analysis; for review by the Territory.
- Implementation Plan, including potential risks and benefits and draft high level schedule; for APPROVAL by the Territory.
- Exception documentation and briefs to be completed as required to ensure timely delivery.
